The Georgia Coastal Storytelling Collective is focused on telling stories about abundance and repair across the Georgia Coast.

We have come together organically, but with the purpose of sharing stories via photography, film, text, and audio about the many ways we can work together to preserve the cultural and the ecological health of our coast. The member organizations of the Collective include Save Our Legacy Ourself (SOLO), Shell to Shore, Creature Comforts Brewing Company and UGA’s Cornelia Walker Bailey Program on Land, Sea and Agriculture. Additionally, photographer Rinne Allen and filmmaker Cartter Fontaine of Chispa House are central to our storytelling practice.

Funding for the Collective has in part been provided by the Climate Science and Communications Fund. The Fund represents a collaborative group of donors and scientists dedicated to supporting climate scientists and communicators and is administered by Surge Climate Talent. The Collective has also in part been funded by the Riverview Foundation.
